Job summary

ESBAAR is seeking a seasoned GIS leader to design, develop, and implement ESRI-based GIS solutions aligned with business needs. You will guide geospatial strategy, architecture, and best practices while managing ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Online, and Portal for ArcGIS.

You will oversee data integrity and security, optimize workflows, and integrate GIS with Oracle/SQL Server databases. Mentorship and proactive innovation are key in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Computer Science, MIS, or related discipline.
• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) and/or Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) certifications preferred.
• ESRI certification is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years with ESRI products (ArcGIS Desktop/Server/Online/Portal).
• Minimum 3 years with Oracle and/or SQL Server databases.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of GIS solutions using ESRI technologies.
• Provide expert advice on geospatial strategies, system architecture, and best practices.
• Manage and maintain GIS platforms (ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Online, Portal for ArcGIS).
• Oversee spatial data management ensuring accuracy, integrity, and security.
• Develop and optimize GIS apps, tools, and workflows to boost efficiency.
• Integrate GIS with Oracle/SQL Server databases.
• Conduct advanced spatial analysis and produce maps, reports, visualizations.
• Engage with stakeholders to translate business needs into GIS solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior GIS staff.
• Troubleshoot issues and ensure high availability of GIS services.
• Stay updated with emerging GIS tech and propose improvements.
• Support project delivery with timelines, quality, and client expectations.
• Prepare and deliver technical documentation, presentations, training when required.
