Job summary

CoorB is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer for a fully remote role. You will own end-to-end features for cross-platform mobile apps, with hands-on responsibility from design through release, focusing on clean architecture, design systems, and high-quality code in a data-driven environment.

You will contribute to architecture, build a shared component library, implement runtime theming, ensure accessibility across devices, and integrate with backend APIs and secure authentication flows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on mobile development experience.
• Proficient in Flutter & Dart or React Native & TypeScript.
• Experience shipping production cross‑platform apps to App Store and Google Play.
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns and state management.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, offline handling and background synchronization.
• Secure handling of data and mobile security fundamentals.
• Proficient with Git, code reviews and Agile delivery.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver features for cross-platform mobile applications, owning them end to end.
• Contribute to mobile architecture, state management patterns and coding standards.
• Build and evolve a shared component library and consistent design language across platforms.
• Implement runtime theming and configuration for branding and features.
• Ensure accessibility and correct behavior across devices and screen sizes.
• Write platform-specific native code when necessary for plugin gaps.
• Apply mobile security best practices — secure storage and biometric auth.
• Integrate with REST APIs and OAuth2/OpenID Connect authentication.
• Optimize performance, startup time, rendering and network efficiency.
• Write and maintain automated tests (unit, widget/component, integration).
• Review colleagues' code, mentor engineers, raise team quality.
• Write technical docs and design notes on Confluence.
• Participate in daily, weekly and monthly ceremonies and planning.
