Job summary

GroWise in Muscat, Oman is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the finance function in a manufacturing environment, including monthly closings, financial reporting, and costing for mining and manufacturing operations. The role requires strong costing, ERP experience (Odoo), and VAT compliance expertise.

You will manage banking relationships, cash flow planning, and coordinate with auditors while driving internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; professional qualification (CA/ACCA/CMA) preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting experience; at least 3 years in manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong costing and inventory accounting experience; process/manufacturing costing is essential.
• ERP experience; Odoo is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of Oman VAT and statutory requirements; fluent English; Arabic an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full finance function: monthly closing, financial statements, and management reporting.
• Review and approve the work of the accounting team before posting.
• Own product costing for mining and manufacturing operations, including inventory valuation.
• Manage banking relationships, cash flow planning, and payment cycles.
• Ensure VAT compliance and timely filing (Oman VAT).
• Consolidate and own the calendar of financial deadlines (VAT, payroll, bank, audit).
• Drive the company's ERP-based accounting (Odoo) and strengthen internal controls.
• Coordinate with external auditors and consultants.
