Job summary

NEW Alfa International is seeking an Electrical Trainer in Oman to deliver both classroom and hands-on training on electrical protection systems, MV/LV switchgear, transformers, and testing & commissioning. The role requires 5+ years of experience and strong knowledge of protection relays, switchgear, and safety standards.

You will conduct hands-on sessions, evaluate trainee performance, and ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, and NETA standards while coordinating schedules and maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelors/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical testing & commissioning, protection systems, or switchgear.
• Strong knowledge of protection relays, MV/LV switchgear, and electrical safety standards.
• Good communication, presentation, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and practical training on electrical protection systems, MV/LV switchgear, transformers, and testing & commissioning.
• Conduct hands-on training for protection relays, circuit breakers, switchgear operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure all training complies with IEC, IEEE, NETA, and client standards.
• Evaluate trainee performance and provide technical guidance and mentoring.
• Coordinate training schedules, equipment readiness, and certification records
