As a Senior OHL Designer with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience.

• Deliver electrical-specific design and drafting services that meet Worley, client, and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct site visits for various projects, especially OHL-related projects, to identify suitable routes for the OHL.
• Work in PLSCAD software to produce plans, profiles, sag tension, and stringing charts for OHLs at different voltage levels from 33 KV to 400 KV.
• Identify design scope based on project definitions and develop lists of drawing deliverables and estimates.
• Manage design and drafting assignments per schedule and budget.
• Perform electrical design and drafting services, ensuring clarity of scope, managing changes, interfacing vendor and third-party documents, and adhering to standards.
• Participate in project reviews and ensure timely and within-budget delivery of assignments.

About You:

To be considered for this role, you should possess:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

• At least 15 years of electrical design and drafting experience in the power, oil, and gas industry.

• Experience with brownfield electrical systems.

• Good understanding of international standards.

• Knowledge of PDO SP STD and DEP shell STD is a plus.

• Strong technical and practical electrical design and drafting skills.

• Proficiency in PLSCAD for OHL design is mandatory.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.

• Experience with 3D modeling software (E3D and/or S3D) is a plus.

• Ability to coordinate with other disciplines to ensure fit-for-purpose designs.

• Proven experience in creating electrical deliverables such as:

• Plan and profile for OHL (33KV, 132KV, 220KV, 400KV)
• Sag tension and stringing charts for OHLs
• OHL desktop studies for route identification
• Single line diagrams – HV and LV
• Protection and metering drawings
• Material take-offs
• Electrical equipment and switchroom layouts
• Lighting calculations and layouts
• Power and cable routing layouts
• 3D modeling of electrical equipment, cable trays, trenches, raceways, lighting

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
