Job summary

Goodman Masson Oman is partnering with a new financial markets venture in Oman to build secure and highly available technology infrastructure. The Senior Infrastructure / Cloud Engineer will design, manage and secure cloud and on‑premises environments across OCI, Azure and AWS, with leadership responsibilities for the Infrastructure Team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in CS/IT.
• At least five years’ experience in infrastructure and/or cloud engineering.
• Hands-on with cloud and on‑premises environments, servers, networking, DR/HA.
• Experience with OCI, Azure, AWS, VMware/Hyper-V, container tech and automation tools.
• Strong English communication; Arabic proficiency desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, manage and secure cloud and on‑premises infrastructure across OCI, Azure and AWS.
• Administer Windows and Linux servers and containerised environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Automate deployment and maintenance using Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell and Python.
• Support networking, firewalls, VPNs and cloud connectivity for secure services.
• Oversee backup, disaster recovery, monitoring and high availability for continuity.
• Implement security measures, patching, access controls and compliance needs.
• Troubleshoot incidents and coordinate with teams and vendors as needed.
• Maintain documentation and infrastructure diagrams; supervise team members.
