Job summary

Trades App in Oman seeks an experienced Boiler Operator to manage steam and hot-water boiler systems, monitor critical parameters, and ensure safe, efficient operation across the facility. The role requires at least five years in industrial boiler operation, a Class 1 Boiler Operator certificate, and strong knowledge of safety, water treatment, and emergency response protocols.

You will keep precise logs and coordinate maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification and a valid Class 1 Boiler Operator Certificate or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial boiler operating experience.
• Strong knowledge of boiler safety and water treatment.
• Experience with steam and hot-water systems.
• Able to troubleshoot and respond calmly to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Operate steam or hot-water boilers and associated equipment.
• Monitor pressure, temperature, water level, and fuel consumption.
• Inspect safety devices, pressure-relief valves, pumps, compressors, and fans.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance.
• Conduct boiler-water testing and support water-treatment activities.
• Respond to alarms and abnormal operating conditions.
• Maintain accurate operational and fuel-consumption records.
