Qualifications

• Must hold a Class 1 Boiler Operator Certificate and relevant technical qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on boiler operating experience.
• Strong knowledge of boiler operations, pressure systems, safety controls, and water treatment.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and respond to abnormal conditions.
• Detail-oriented with commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor industrial steam and hot-water boilers to ensure efficient and reliable performance.
• Track operating parameters: pressure, temperature, water levels, and fuel consumption.
• Inspect boiler components and auxiliary equipment, including safety valves, pumps, compressors, and ventilation fans.
• Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and preventive maintenance.
• Conduct boiler-water quality tests and assist with water-treatment processes.
• Identify equipment faults and troubleshoot operational issues; respond to alarms and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate operating logs and fuel-consumption reports.
• Follow established safety procedures and comply with operating standards.
