Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (MEA) is seeking a hands-on Senior Software Engineer to lead the development, integration, and enhancement of AI-powered enterprise software on Google Cloud. The role focuses on cloud-native design, DevOps practices, and transitioning vendor-led work to internal teams while building scalable, secure solutions across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong Python + backend frameworks (FastAPI/Django) proficiency.
• Frontend experience with React or equivalent.
• Deep understanding of REST APIs, databases, and security.
• Hands-on with GCP services (Cloud Run/Build/Storage) and DevOps.
• Experience with Git, Docker, CI/CD, automated testing, deployment.
• Ability to design, troubleshoot, and maintain production-grade apps.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise apps and APIs.
• Build end-to-end applications across backend, frontend, and integrations.
• Develop AI-powered capabilities (LLM apps, AI agents, automation).
• Review code from external vendors and transition to internal ownership.
• Develop, deploy, and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform.
• Establish engineering standards and reusable components.
• Collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists, owners, and vendors.
