Job summary

SOCAT LLC is seeking an experienced Accountant to support the Chief Accountant and Finance Manager in implementing robust accounting processes, managing day-to-day financial operations, payroll, and payables/receivables. The role requires strong ERP and Excel skills and adherence to internal controls and industry standards.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of accounting experience, preferably in Catering or Facilities Management (FM).
• Bachelor of Commerce or Semi-Qualified Accountant (e.g., ACCA/CA inter).
• Strong proficiency in computerized accounting software and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Post daily financial transactions and maintain ledgers and books of accounts.
• Prepare daily cash and bank balance statements.
• Collect, analyze, and reconcile financial data across locations and central accounts.
• Coordinate with Operations and HR for payroll timesheets and processing.
• Verify supplier invoices against purchase orders and manage vendor payments.
• Review draft invoices and manage client invoicing and aging reports.
• Follow company internal control policies and ensure QHSE alignment.
