Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott in Muscat, Oman, seeks an experienced security professional to assist the Director of Security in managing daily operations, protecting people and property, and ensuring compliance with SOPs and local law.

You will deploy security personnel, oversee investigations and incident reporting, uphold guest service standards, and collaborate with hotel teams and authorities to keep everyone safe.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years in security/loss prevention or related field.
• 2-year degree in Criminal Justice or related major with 1 year security experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing emergency procedures.
• Develop and deploy security staff to monitor and protect property assets.
• Conduct periodic patrols of property and parking areas.
• Maintain and document safety and security reports according to SOPs.
• Lead and guide security subordinates, setting performance standards.

Education

High school diploma or GED; 3 years experience in security/loss prevention or related professional area.

2-year degree from an accredited university in Criminal Justice or related major; 1 year experience in the security/loss prevention or related professional area.
