Job description

The main purpose of the Sales & Marketing Specialist is to support the promotion, positioning, and visibility of CDDC’s projects and offerings within the Convention District. This includes assisting in marketing campaigns, stakeholder engagement, sales coordination, and supporting the development of promotional materials in line with CDDC’s strategic goals

Responsibilities

Strategic contribution

  • Assist the Sales & Marketing team in developing and executing marketing plans and sales initiatives.
  • Support in preparing promotional materials, presentations, and event coordination.
  • Contribute to basic market research and competitor tracking to support campaign planning.

People

  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Finance, Legal, Development) to align marketing and sales activities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and assist in coordinating cross-departmental tasks.
  • Participate in team discussions and share insights for continuous improvement.

Operational

  • Assist in organizing marketing events, site visits, and promotional activities.
  • Help manage CRM updates, sales reports, and campaign performance tracking.
  • Support the creation of digital and print content under supervision.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and timely follow-ups with partners, clients, and service providers.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the Sales & Marketing function.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Timeliness and accuracy in reporting and documentation submissions.
  • Quality and clarity of marketing materials, sales reports, and presentations.
  • Effectiveness in supporting campaign execution, event coordination, and stakeholder engagement.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education & Experience

Education: Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or a related discipline.
