Job Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for bookings, generating proposals, contracts, issuing confirmations, and following up with all MICE customers assigned to you.
  2. Ensure that all lead requests are handled according to policy and within the lead handling timeframe.
  3. Actively follow up on sent offers based on guest requirements.
  4. Prepare offer letters that meet guest needs and adhere to company standards.
  5. Personalize and execute events for Meeting planners.
  6. Maintain timely and responsive communication with all accounts and prospects.
  7. Assess group business potential to maximize contributions from available public space, generate room revenue, and meet Meetings and Events budgets.
  8. Yield all leads before sending out the offer letter, including venue assignment and rates, and seek necessary approvals.
  9. Manage and update Sales and Catering PMS according to company policies and standards.
  10. Refer unconfirmed bookings to sister properties for potential placement.
  11. Supervise and communicate with Meetings and Events Operations during events to ensure guest satisfaction.
  12. Seek feedback on rates, availability, and offer letters from department heads.
  13. Be fully aware of the hotel's available equipment.
  14. Provide support and guidance to the Meetings and Events Operations team.
  15. Comply with the hotel's credit policy by securing pre-payments or approved credit letters for events.
  16. Prepare Event Orders according to departmental standards and distribute them properly.
  17. Inspect all function areas before events to ensure setup matches customer specifications.
