Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in Oman is seeking a Sales Engineer to manage client relationships and drive sales in generator systems. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, at least 5 years of relevant experience in the GCC market, and strong technical knowledge of generators. This full-time onsite position offers a competitive salary and requires working from Saturday to Thursday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

Sales Engineer (Generator Sales) – Oman

Role Summary: We are seeking a results-driven Sales Engineer with expertise in generator sales to manage client relationships, drive sales, and achieve revenue targets. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of generators and related systems, with a proven track record in the Oman or GCC markets.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in generator sales across Oman/GCC.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, distributors, and contractors.
  • Provide technical support and product recommendations to customers.
  • Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and technical documentation.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
  • Coordinate with the service and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery and installation.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in generator sales in Oman or any GCC country (mandatory).
  • Strong technical knowledge of generators, power systems, and related equipment.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales and achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/sales tools.
