We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Risk team. The role will cover the full spectrum of risk, ensuring that HSBC’s growth strategy is delivered safely and in line with the bank’s risk appetite.

Responsibilities
  • Contributing to and embedding Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) across the bank.
  • Overseeing and challenging the effectiveness of risk management for both financial risks (credit, market, liquidity, capital and funding) and non-financial risks (operational, conduct, regulatory, reputational).
  • Supporting the design and implementation of HSBC’s risk policies, frameworks, and tools.
  • Providing senior management with clear insights, analysis, and challenge to strengthen risk-based decision making.
Requirements
  • University degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Management, or relevant specialization.
  • 5+ years working in Risk departments in banks and financial institutions reviewing documents and transactions.
  • Proficiency in English is a must; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Should not have been sentenced by a court in crimes related to honor or honesty, or been convicted of offences and sentenced to imprisonment.
