Hotel: Muscat Al Mouj (MCTAL), Plot 595, Phase 1, Street 6,, Al Mouj

The Revenue Manager is responsible for maximizing the hotel’s revenue and profitability through effective management of room pricing, inventory, and distribution channels. This role involves analysing market trends, forecasting demand, and implementing strategic pricing strategies to optimize occupancy and average daily rate (ADR) while ensuring alignment with the hotel's overall business goals.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Develop and implement revenue management strategies to maximize hotel profitability across all market segments.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics such as occupancy, ADR, RevPAR (Revenue per Available Room), and market share.
  • Analyse competitor pricing, market trends, and demand patterns to adjust pricing strategies accordingly.
  • Manage room inventory allocation across all distribution channels, including direct bookings, OTAs, GDS, and corporate accounts.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and front office teams to align promotional offers, group bookings, and special events with revenue goals.
  • Prepare accurate forecasts and budgets, providing management with detailed reports and actionable insights.
  • Utilize revenue management systems (e.g., Duetto, IDeaS, or similar) to optimize pricing and inventory.
  • Ensure effective use of the hotel’s property management system (PMS) and channel management tools.
  • Conduct regular training for front office and reservations teams on revenue management principles and tools.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to increase overall revenue.
