A leading recruitment firm is seeking an experienced recruiter to source and hire candidates in a fast-paced environment. The role involves collaboration with hiring managers, ensuring compliance with company policies, and managing the recruitment process effectively while understanding local Omanisation requirements.
The recruiter will be responsible for sourcing and hiring suitable candidates from around the globe in fast pace environment.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment & Selection
• The role is responsible to sourcing suitable candidates through a variety of methods including; online, direct approach, LinkedIn, agencies etc.
• Liaising directly with the hiring manager on requirements
• Liaising with candidates and coordinating interviews
• Ensuring all the recruitment process is compliant with the Company policy and procedures
• Managing background checks for appropriate positions
• Monitoring of Omanisation requirements and sourcing candidates to meet targets where applicable
• Setting up of interviews either telephonically or face to face
• Ensure timely feedback is provided to candidates
• Managing of offer process in line with Company policy and procedure
Mobilisations
• Working with the project HR Generalist to ensure all the smooth transition of candidates from the recruitment to the onboarding process
Government Relations
• Ongoing liaising with the government relations team to understand any visa restrictions
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 8 years international recruitment experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to liaise with all levels of the organization including Senior Management
- Must be able to demonstrate experience in pro-active in identifying and addressing issues
- Experience in SAP and applicant tracking systems, ideally Taleo, is an advantage
- Knowledge of Omani laws and Omanisation is essential
- Omani national is preferred
