Job summary

Avanta Works is seeking a skilled Radio Technician for our team in Nizwa, Oman. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing radio communication equipment, with a focus on ensuring proper operation and adherence to safety standards.

You will read diagrams and manuals to troubleshoot issues and collaborate with engineers on projects. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent in electronics, proven radio tech experience, and strong problem-solving abilities, plus good

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent in electronics or related field.
• Proven experience as a Radio Technician or similar role.
• Strong understanding of radio frequencies and communication systems.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals for troubleshooting purposes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Physical ability to climb towers or work in confined spaces if needed.
• Good communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair radio communication equipment according to manufacturer's instructions.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with radio equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and testing of radios to ensure proper functioning.
• Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and equipment inventory.
