Job summary

Flyper in Nizwa, Oman is seeking a Radio Technician to install, maintain and repair radio equipment and systems. This is a contract position with a monthly salary of 1000 USD and accommodation provided.

You will work on-site, perform routine checks, troubleshoot issues, document work and stay updated with radio technology to propose upgrades, while communicating clearly with clients and teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in radio equipment installation, maintenance or repair is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of electronics and electrical wiring.
• Ability to read technical manuals and follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Install and set up radio equipment and systems according to specifications.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair any issues with radio equipment and systems.
• Keep detailed records of all work performed.
• Stay updated on advancements in radio technology and propose upgrades or improvements.
