Job summary

A provider of recruitment solutions is seeking a QA/QC Inspector for marine infrastructure construction projects in Oman. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in QA/QC within the construction sector, a strong understanding of quality standards, and excellent communication skills. This position requires full-time on-site presence and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in QA/QC roles within construction or marine infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of construction quality standards, inspection techniques, and documentation practices.
• Experience with LNG projects is a plus.
• Familiarity with international quality standards and codes.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and reporting abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.

• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and quality documentation.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to approved quality plans and procedures.
• Coordinate with construction teams and subcontractors to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and inspection checklists.
• Ensure that all quality records are properly maintained and archived.
• Participate in internal and external audits and support audit readiness.
• Report quality-related issues to the QA/QC Officer and recommend improvements.
