Job summary

LYQA TECH VENTURES is seeking a Software Tester to develop and execute comprehensive test plans and scripts for web-based enterprise applications. The role includes manual functional, regression, and user acceptance testing across ERP and portal systems, with a focus on AI applications and RAG platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance.
• Strong understanding of SDLC & STLC.
• Experience testing web-based enterprise applications.
• Experience in manual & regression testing.
• Basic knowledge of API testing with Postman or similar.
• Basic SQL knowledge for database validation.
• Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps or similar bug tracking tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting & problem-solving skills.
• Good written & verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop & execute test plans, test cases & test scripts.
• Perform manual functional, regression, smoke, and user acceptance testing.
• Test enterprise AI applications, RAG platforms, AI agents & AI chatbots.
• Validate AI-generated responses for accuracy, relevance, consistency & factual correctness, and identify hallucinations or workflow issues.
• Test ERP systems, enterprise portals, customer portals, university portals & complex web applications.
• Perform API testing with Postman or similar tools, validating integrations with databases, third-party APIs, email systems & business applications.
• Conduct cross-browser, responsive & mobile compatibility testing.
• Report, track & verify software defects using bug tracking tools.
• Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts & Product Managers to ensure high-quality releases.
• Participate in Agile Scrum development processes.
