The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project budgets, coordinating teams, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Job Description
o Collaborate with the concerned division heads to determine the requirements of the projects and prepare a technical scope of work accordingly.
o Lead and manage all construction and major renovation from the stage of planning, designing, tendering, & evaluation till the final execution stage and handover of the project.
o Lead and manage any minor projects referred by the line manager by preparing a basic scope of work, survey the quantity, and obtain quotations accordingly.
o Coordinate between the concerned department, purchase, consultants, and the contractors to justify the requirement and prepare a details plan.
o Coordinate with the Procurement section to obtain quotations, evaluate, and select the contractors.
o Review and confirm all relevant quotations and scope of works to ensure it meet the requirements.
o Follow up with the consultant and the PRO to obtain work permits from appropriate authorities and government entities before commencing the work.
o Ensure that all planned projects are budgeted and adhere to company procedure in case of unbudgeted projects.
o Ensure that projects are executed on time and within the budget. Monitor and supervise the projects based on the agreed work plan.
o Evaluate progress and prepare monthly detailed reports to the line manager. Evaluate the contractor's performance based on agreed KPIs.
o Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues raised by the HSSE department.
o Coordinate with the line manager to inspect all properties and prepare reports accordingly.
o Update the line manager through a weekly progress report to monitor the status of each project.
o Attend a weekly/monthly meeting with the department head to discuss the progress of the running projects and the action required.
o Ensure at all times that contractors are working based onthe agreed scope of work and to the best quality work and materials.
o Prepare and execute any jobs/responsibilities given bythe direct manager related to department responsibilities.
