Job summary

Worley in Oman seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead execution of Oil & Gas projects, ensure HSSE excellence, and drive multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.

The candidate should have 15+ years in engineering and project management, with at least 10 years on construction management/site supervision for power-generations projects, including wind or solar experience, and a proven track record delivering complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of engineering and project management experience.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Construction Management/site supervision of power-generations projects, plus prior site-based experience on at least one utility-scale Wind or Solar project.
• Demonstrated commitment to HSSE leadership and management.
• Proven capability in managing project cost, schedule, resources, and overall project performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong HSSE leadership and promote a culture of safety, integrity, and operational excellence.
• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Oil & Gas projects to achieve project objectives and business goals.
• Provide leadership and direction to multidisciplinary project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with approved scope, schedule, budget, quality, and performance requirements.
• Foster collaboration across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships and ensure alignment of project objectives across all project stakeholders.
• Manage all phases of project execution from initiation through engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Monitor project scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, and risks to ensure successful project delivery.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and ensure effective communication across all project functions.
• Track project performance against approved baselines and implement corrective actions where required.
• Ensure effective management of project interfaces between internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage project resources and ensure effective utilization of personnel to meet project objectives.
• Ensure compliance with project procedures, contractual obligations, governance requirements, and quality standards.
• Support commercial management activities, including change management, contract administration, and claims resolution.
• Prepare and present project progress reports, forecasts, and recommendations to project leadership and stakeholders.
• Promote continuous improvement and implementation of project delivery best practices.

Primary Objectives / Responsibilities
