Job Description
The Project Engineer directs and maintains all aspects of the projects from inception through to completion. The purpose is to work in Client environment to effectively achieve project targets from Contractors & Consultants.
· Ensures safe environment all the time during execution of the projects
· Supervise the ongoing projects as per requirement including aspects with regards to Quality and safety
· Issue daily work permits.
· Facilitate, coordinate and report daily progress on all the ongoing projects.
· Help in preparing scope documents, contract packages and review of legal / insurance requirements for the contracts in favor of the company
· Work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team consist of mechanical, civil, electrical, instrumentation and Process engineers
· Capture and facilitate definition of work scopes and deliverables for various contract package.
· Help in defining policies and procedures for clear communication to the project team.
· Preparation and follow up of project schedule against which all deliverables are monitored and controlled.
· Initiation of audits and reviews for all project activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, schedule requirements and company’s legal obligations.
· Initiation of risk assessment and develop risk mitigation plans relevant to the project domain and follow up on action plan.
· Coordinate with Project Management Consultants / other relevant consultants in various project related activities.
· Prepare documentation for Tender Board procedures for various tenders/bids for different works being undertaken as a part of project.
Desired Candidate Profile
· Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in field.
· Supervising and supporting field team.
· Experience as Project Engineer working in an Engineering or Construction environment.
· Experience in installation of piping, equipment and steel structure. Having good understanding about execution of civil, electrical and instrumentation will be added advantage.
· Awareness and understanding of the engineering, procurement, and field project regulations relating to safety, contractual, and labor requirements.
· Cost and schedule estimates.
· Resource requirements planning.
· Risk estimation, planning, and mitigation.
· Project financial planning and analysis.
· Contract, RFP, and bid document preparation.
· Contractor evaluations and recommendation.
· Follow up on engineering and procurement.
