Job summary

ACME Cleantech Solutions is seeking an experienced Production/Process Engineer to support the Ammonia Plant operations in Oman. You will oversee daily production, ensuring safe and efficient processes while coordinating operational activities.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering and 9-14 years of relevant experience. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 9-14 years of experience in Ammonia Plant Operations within Fertilizer or Petrochemical industries.
• Hands-on experience in Ammonia Plant pre-commissioning and commissioning is mandatory.
• Experience in large-scale continuous process plants preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee day-to-day operations of the Ammonia Plant.
• Coordinate with Maintenance team for troubleshooting and breakdown management.
• Participate in plant startup, shutdown, and process optimization activities.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Production/Process Engineer to support and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Ammonia Plant in Oman. The role requires a strong technical background in ammonia plant operations along with hands‑on exposure to pre‑commissioning and commissioning activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee day‑to‑day operations of the Ammonia Plant to ensure safe, stable, and efficient production.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance team for troubleshooting, shutdowns, and breakdown management.
• Support the Head Production in operational planning and routine plant activities.
• Ensure adherence to operational procedures, safety standards, and process compliance.
• Monitor plant performance parameters and recommend operational improvements.
• Participate in plant startup, shutdown, and process optimization activities.
• Maintain operational records and prepare shift/production reports as required.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.

Candidate Profile

• Strong understanding of ammonia plant processes and production operations.
• Ability to handle operational challenges in a continuous process industry environment.
• Good coordination, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Capable of working effectively in a multicultural industrial setup.

Experience Required
