Job summary

AP Recyclers (SFZ) LLC in Salalah, Oman is seeking a Production & Dispatch Supervisor to plan, monitor, and control daily production activities and ensure targets are met. You will supervise operators, optimize processes, and coordinate with maintenance and other departments.

The role requires hands-on leadership in a plant environment, willingness to work shifts, strong Excel and reporting skills, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Candidate should have a mechanical engineering background or equivalent.
• Experience in production, manufacturing, and dispatch is preferred.
• Strong leadership and reporting capabilities required.

Responsibilities

• Plan monitor and control daily production activities.
• Ensure production targets are achieved as per the planned schedule.
• Monitor production machinery and equipment for efficient operation.
• Identify production problems and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor manpower utilization and production efficiency.
• Maintain daily production reports and production-related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety procedures and quality standards.
• Monitor material consumption, productions losses and wastage.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and productivity enhancement.
• Supervise production operators and workers and ensure proper work allocation.
• Coordinate with Maintenance for machine breakdowns and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and workplace safety standards.
• Support Plant Head in achieving production objectives.
• Plan and coordinate daily dispatch of finished products as per requirements.
• Coordinate with Plant Head, Production team, Stores, transporters for dispatch.
• Ensure finished materials are ready and available as per schedule.
• Supervise loading/unloading of vehicles and ensure safe loading.
• Verify dispatch quantities against production stock records.

Role amp responsibilities

Production Responsibilities

• Plan monitor and control daily production activities
• Ensure production targets are achieved as per the planned schedule

• Coordinate with the Maintenance team for machine breakdowns and preventive maintenance

• Support the Plant Head in achieving production and operational objectives

Dispatch Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily dispatch of finished products as per customer and company requirements
• Coordinate with the Plant Head Production team Stores transporters and other concerned departments for timely dispatch
• Ensure finished materials are ready and available as per the dispatch schedule
• Supervise and coordinate loading and unloading of vehicles at the plant
• Ensure proper and safe loading of finished goods into trucks vehicles
• Verify the quantity and type of material being loaded before dispatch
• Inspect and verify all incoming raw materials materials received from vendors for quantity and basic quality requirements as per company specifications and purchase requirements
• Ensure proper handling and stacking of materials during loading and unloading to prevent damage or loss
• Coordinate with drivers and transporters regarding vehicle availability loading schedules and dispatch requirements
• Ensure vehicles are properly positioned and safely handled during loading and unloading activities
• Maintain dispatch records vehicle details material quantities and relevant dispatch documentation
• Verify dispatch quantities against production stock records and delivery requirements
• Monitor vehicle loading time and minimize vehicle waiting time
• Report any shortage damage discrepancy or dispatch-related issue to the concerned authority immediately
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safety practices in the loading unloading and dispatch areas
• Follow company procedures and safety guidelines during all material handling and dispatch activities

Education

• B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering Preferred.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Also considered.
• Graduate in any relevant discipline May also be considered based on relevant production, manufacturing, and dispatch experience.

Experience

• Experience4-7 years of relevant experience in Production/Manufacturing.
• Experience in Rubber Recycling, Tyre Recycling, Crumb Rubber, Rubber Manufacturing, Recycling, or similar industries will be highly preferred.
• Candidates with strong experience in mechanical production, plant operations, and dispatch activities may also be considered.
• Experience in finished-goods dispatch, material handling, and vehicle loading/unloading will be an added advantage.
