Job summary

Employment in Oman seeks a Product Owner with deep CSD, post-trade, and custody expertise to own the platform's scope, rules, and commercial proposition. The role requires leadership in defining the operating model, participant interfaces, and fee structures, while engaging regulators and key market participants.

The successful candidate will lead a blank-sheet design for a greenfield CSD project, with responsibility for ensuring the platform's alignment with international standards and market

Qualifications

• 15+ years in central securities depository, custody, post-trade, or capital markets infrastructure with a product/design/operating-model focus.
• Led functional design of a build for a CSD or post-trade platform of comparable weight.
• Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision and end-to-end roadmap for the platform and its commercial proposition.
• Own the fee schedule design, benchmarking against international comparators, and ongoing maintenance.
• Translate vision into functional requirements across settlement, registry, asset servicing, corporate actions, repo, and issuing/participation interfaces.
• Approve vendor functional designs and manage the rulebook, participant documentation, and operating model.
• Engage with regulators, issuers, custodians, and international counterparties as the authoritative voice on platform design.
