Job summary

Tawteen is seeking a Procurement and Supplier Management professional to manage requisitions, obtain supplier quotations, and issue purchase orders in Oman. The role focuses on local supplier qualification, negotiation, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies.

The candidate will monitor supplier performance, support ICV reporting, and coordinate with Finance, Operations and HR to optimize procurement processes and local expenditure. Strong data skills and ERP familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in procurement, supplier management, or ICV-related activities.
• Knowledge of ICV principles and local sourcing requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive purchase requisitions from internal departments and verify approvals.
• Obtain quotations from suppliers and evaluate based on price, quality, delivery, and terms.
• Prepare purchase orders and follow deliveries until goods/services are received.
• Identify and maintain a database of qualified local suppliers.
• Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers in coordination with the reporting manager.
• Monitor supplier performance and address delays or non-conformities.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and maintain records.
