Job summary

Saudi Aramco is seeking a seasoned Process Online Analyzer Specialist to join the Advanced Analytical Solutions Division within the Research & Analytical Services Department. You will evaluate, select and develop analyzers and sensing technologies for process monitoring, working with chemists, process engineers and R&D teams to resolve technical challenges.

The role focuses on real-time process composition monitoring, installation and commissioning of analyzer systems, and advancing analytical

Qualifications

Must hold a Master Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
A PhD specializing in process analyzers or system sampling design is preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in process monitoring and in process controls, analyzer design and sampling systems.

Responsibilities

Provide process analyzer system support to R&D teams, operations, and pilot plant activities using analytical techniques.
Track analyzer performance, conduct failure analyses and drive continuous improvement.
Develop and identify new analytical solutions to monitor process composition in real-time.
Support the design, selection, installation and commissioning of new process analyzer systems.
Carry out investigative studies in oil and gas processing plants using portable on-line analyzers.
Manage projects for implementations of process analyzer technologies including calibration, maintenance, and validation.
Support and guide in-house technology development programs.
Use project management tools to set objectives and ensure timely execution with stakeholders.
Publish patents and participate in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
Mentor junior scientists and engineers on process analyzers and sampling systems.
