Job summary

Eram Talent, a division of Eram Group, is seeking a senior Process Engineer to provide process-engineering support for a power generation block. The role focuses on equipment performance, thermodynamic analysis, operational troubleshooting, and plant optimization, onsite at Saudi Arabia.

You will work with operations and technical teams to evaluate performance trends and drive improvement across key power-generation assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in power generation plants.
• Experience with IGCC and syngas-fired gas turbines is essential.
• Proficient in English for technical reporting and collaboration.
• PE license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate Power Generation Block equipment performance daily using process data analysis, efficiency calculations, heat-rate assessments, KPI tracking, and dashboard updates.
• Perform thermodynamic assessments, equipment evaluations, and technical studies to identify efficiency losses and improvement opportunities.
• Assess heat exchangers, condensers, HRSGs, and cooling systems for heat transfer and thermal efficiency.
• Support diagnostic programs for gas and steam turbines, review monthly performance reports, coordinate with OEMs, and develop corrective actions.
• Investigate process deviations, upsets, efficiency losses, and equipment performance issues.
• Provide daily process-engineering support to Operations, optimize operating parameters, and review SOPs and EOPs.
• Support plant modifications, MOC activities, design notices, risk assessments, root-cause analyses, and commissioning.
• Prepare technical reports and unit trip reports within 24 hours of an upset.
