Job summary

ECG Engineering Consultants Group S.A. is seeking a mechanical engineer with over 15 years of pipeline design experience to join our team in Oman. The candidate will be responsible for designing and reviewing pipeline profiles, performing complex calculations, and leading technical bid evaluations.

The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and have strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills. Proficiency in pipeline design software is essential.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in pipeline design and engineering

Responsibilities:

• Design and review pipeline profiles, plans, and detailed drawings.
• Perform complex calculations for wall thickness, miter bends, flange thickness, branch connections, and saddle supports
• Lead technical bid evaluations and manage the procurement cycle, reviewing vendor offers for compliance and quality.
• A good knowledge with international standards including but not limited to (ASME, ASTM & EN standards….etc.)
