Job summary

WSP in the Middle East is looking for a Principal Mechanical Engineer based in Oman to lead influential mechanical and HVAC design projects, specializing in aviation and industrial facilities such as aircraft maintenance hangars and flight catering setups.

The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience, proven leadership in multi-disciplinary projects, and strong BIM fluency. This role requires engagement with various stakeholders and aims for innovative designs that meet safety and performance standards.

You will need to be willing to relocate and engage in various aviation environments while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• 15+ years' experience in building services, specifically in mechanical/HVAC.
• Proven leadership on multi-disciplinary design projects.
• Expertise writing BoDs, specifications, and control sequences.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical/HVAC design through all project phases.
• Engineer specialist ventilation for hazardous operations.
• Deliver BIM-led coordination across multiple disciplines.
