Job summary

Vrinda Global is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer for Oman. The role focuses on developing and maintaining detailed project schedules for oil & gas EPC, construction, shutdowns, and brownfield/greenfield projects.

You will drive schedule baselines, look-ahead plans, and recovery schedules across multiple disciplines. You will monitor progress, conduct critical path analyses, and prepare regular progress reports for management and clients.

Qualifications

• 5–9 years of experience in planning and scheduling.
• Mandatory experience in oil & gas projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project.
• Prepare baseline schedules, look-ahead plans, and recovery schedules.
• Monitor project progress and identify schedule deviations and delays.
• Conduct critical path analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management and clients.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
• Track project milestones, deliverables, and KPIs.
• Participate in project review meetings and provide schedule updates.
• Prepare delay analysis, EOT, and claim-related schedules when required.
• Ensure compliance with client specifications and project requirements.
