Job description

• Design and create custom garments that reflect the client's personality and lifestyle, utilizing both hand-drawing and digital design techniques.
• Sketch and present design options, offering fabric swatches, color palettes, and silhouette recommendations.
• Research fashion trends, fabrics, and techniques to conceptualize innovative designs.
• Create mood boards, sketches, and digital designs
• Select fabrics, colors, patterns, and trims that align with design aesthetics and seasonal trends.
• Create or coordinate production of garments, working with pattern makers, seamstresses, or in-house tailors.
• Develop prototypes and oversee sample making with pattern makers and tailors.
• Attend fittings and make necessary alterations to samples for final approval.
• Source high-quality fabrics and materials, negotiating with suppliers to secure the best options that align with the client's budget and vision.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field to ensure a strong foundation in fashion principles.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in personal styling or custom fashion design, showcasing a proven track record of successful client transformations.
• Fluency in English
• GCC Experience is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously, showcasing strong organizational skills.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to articulate design concepts and build client rapport effectively.
• Highly creative with an eye for detail, able to conceptualize and bring unique fashion ideas to life.
