Job summary

A leading technology solutions provider seeks a Patch Management Specialist in Oman. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Computer Science and 3-5 years of experience in OS patch management. Responsibilities include managing patch solutions, reviewing published patches, and deploying them across enterprise environments. Strong expertise in vulnerability assessment and collaboration with IT teams is expected. The salary package ranges between 12,000 to 15,000 SAR monthly.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in OS patch management, vulnerability assessment, and enterprise system maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Manage a complete automated patch management solution from detection to deployment.
• Review, evaluate, and investigate all published patches before applying.
• Deploy patches across enterprise environments following controlled processes.
• Maintain and share patch reports detailing installed, missing, supported, and latest patches.
• Collaborate with IT Systems Operations teams for full lifecycle management of patches.
• Identify and report system vulnerabilities.

Skills

Hands‑on experience in Windows Server

RHEL patch management

Knowledge of enterprise application patching

Experience with automated patch management solutions

Strong understanding of patch interdependencies

Familiarity with Change Control and ITIL

Ability to evaluate, investigate, and approve patches
