Job summary

India Abroad is seeking a Part-time Construction Manager for Khasab, Oman to oversee and manage construction projects on a part-time basis. You will coordinate with contractors, engineers, architects and team members to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

This role emphasizes safety, quality, and compliance with local building codes. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of construction projects from start to finish.
• Develop project plans, schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers and other team members to ensure smooth execution of projects.
• Monitor progress and quality of work throughout the construction process.
• Review plans and specifications to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with architects on design changes or modifications as needed.
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders and progress reports.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure safety protocols are being followed.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on project status.
