Job summary

2coms in Oman is seeking an experienced Optician Technician to join our optical services team. You will perform hands-on optical work, assist customers with eyewear, lenses and frames, and help maintain and adjust spectacles.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of relevant experience, Gulf experience, strong English communication, and solid knowledge of lenses, frames, and optical products. A safety-conscious, trustworthy professional who stays adaptable will fit well.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience as an Optician Technician.
• Gulf experience is required.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Technical knowledge of optical products, lenses, and frames.
• Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment and systems.
• Must be medically fit.
• Must have a clean criminal record. Trustworthy, honest, and responsible.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties as an Optician Technician in an optical healthcare environment.
• Assist customers with eyewear, lenses and basic optical requirements.
• Handle fitting, adjustment and maintenance of spectacles and frames.
• Inspect and ensure the quality of lenses and optical products.
• Support routine optical equipment and workshop activities.
• Maintain proper records and follow workplace safety and quality standards.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service.
