The project:

Be a part of our international consultancy business that spans five global hubs, overseeing work for world-leading organizations across the public and private sectors. Our Middle East and North Africa hub started in 1998 and has successfully operated in a wide range of countries, delivering project and programme management and cost consultancy services.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrable portfolio management experience in a consultancy or client capacity.
• Lead PMO team, comprising the programme and Mace employees.
• Manage disciplines within the PMO, including Assurances (H&S, quality, sustainability, Worker Welfare), Commercial (e.g., procurement), Controls, Design and delivery, Knowledge transfer & training, stakeholder and communications.
• Oversee performance and continuous improvement of discipline leads and their teams.
• Train the wider team in processes and procedures as required.
• Manage the Mace prime contract.
• This is a client-facing role, expected to present at ministerial level.
• Ensure all PMO and project controls services align with best practices and ISO standards.
• Provide expert advice and support to projects within the hub and other hubs as needed.
• Build strong professional relationships with clients.
• Lead delivery of technical PMO and project controls services, including digital services.
• Contribute to the net zero carbon transition by proactively managing associated emissions and reductions.
