Job summary

SGS seeks a Static Equipment Inspector to perform Hold, Witness and Surveillance inspections at manufacturing facilities or construction sites to ensure compliance with SAUDI ARAMCO requirements and project specifications. Inspect material and equipment to ensure proper handling, storage and protection at SAUDI ARAMCO facilities and/or sites.

Monitor Contractor Quality Systems, review submittals, and prepare inspection reports, NCRs, WSs and EDRs as needed.

Qualifications

B.S. degree in Engineering in a respective inspection discipline.
Minimum four (4) years of experience in the relevant inspection discipline, or two (2) years of industrial/technical college diploma plus eight (8) years of experience.

Responsibilities

Perform Hold, Witness and Surveillance inspections and tests to ensure SAUDI ARAMCO compliance.
Inspect material and equipment for proper handling, storage and protection at sites and facilities.
Monitor Contractor’s Quality Systems, records and Quality personnel for compliance.
Review and evaluate the Contractor’s Quality document submittals.
Witness on-site and off-site material and installations tests for compliance with SAUDI ARAMCO standards.
Record contradictions and non-conforming practices, report potential problems for early resolution.
