Job summary

Cheltenham Muscat Oman is seeking an inspiring Music Teacher to start in August 2026. The role spans early years through to sixth form, aligning with the Cambridge International Curriculum and the school’s British ethos.

Qualifications

Experience delivering music education across multi-year groups.
Familiarity with Cambridge International Curriculum (IGCSE/A level) is essential.
Ability to develop and implement a coherent music program across through-school years.

Responsibilities

Lead planning and development of the music curriculum aligned with Cambridge International Curriculum.
Deliver high-quality music lessons to a diverse student body.
Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
Support and develop the music teaching team through CPD and collaboration.
Organise ensembles, concerts, and musical events.
Manage music resources and liaise with leadership on funding and procurement.
Promote inclusion and wellbeing through music.
