Qualifications

• Genuine passion for music and music education.
• Strong knowledge of music curriculum, Cambridge International Curriculum, IGCSE/A level specs.
• Excellent leadership and organisational abilities to run an all-through school department.
• Ability to inspire students from diverse cultural backgrounds and foster an inclusive learning environment.
• Effective communication with students, parents, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, implementation and continuous improvement of the music curriculum across all year groups.
• Ensure progression from Grades 1–8, with IGCSE/A level preparation.
• Deliver high-quality music lessons engaging a diverse student body.
• Promote high standards, creativity, and enjoyment in music.
• Coordinate staff development and collaborate with school leadership.
