Job summary

Deloitte Middle East in Muscat seeks an Associate/Senior Associate in Business Tax to help clients meet tax obligations and identify planning opportunities. You will work with a diverse range of clients across industries and contribute to delivering high-quality tax services.

The role emphasizes building strong client relationships, conducting research on tax issues, and collaborating with the tax team to provide holistic solutions, while demonstrating leadership and professional integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in tax, preferably business tax compliance and advisory services.
• ACCA, CPA or equivalent certifications preferred.
• Strong understanding of Omani and international tax laws and practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Arabic.

Responsibilities

• Tax compliance and advisory: assist clients in meeting obligations and identify planning opportunities.
• Client management: develop and maintain relationships with clients and provide tailored tax advice.
• Research and analysis: conduct in-depth research on complex tax issues and provide analyses and recommendations.
• Project coordination: manage multiple client engagements and coordinate projects with the tax team.
• Knowledge development: stay updated with Oman and international tax laws and share insights.
• Team collaboration: work with tax team and other departments to deliver holistic solutions.
