Job summary

Client of Skc Management Consulting is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician in Oman. The role involves performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety guidelines.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the FM Industry. The position offers a 10-hour workday, medical insurance coverage, and additional benefits including overtime pay and leave in accordance with Oman Labour Law.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in FM Industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance servicing and repair of HVAC systems including split units, cassette units, DX systems and package units.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HVAC performance such as compressor faults, refrigerant leaks, airflow restrictions, and thermostat malfunctions.
• Carry out activities like coil and filter cleaning, refrigerant charging, belt adjustments and lubrication to ensure optimal system performance.
• Respond to breakdowns and work requests related to electrical and mechanical systems such as lighting circuits, DBs, switches, sockets and minor plumbing problems.
• Diagnose and repair faults in MCBs, loose wiring, faulty connections and replace lamps, switches and other electrical components as needed.
• Support basic plumbing tasks including minor leak repairs, clearing blockages and replacing taps, valves or flexible hoses.
• Ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed safely, efficiently and in compliance with HSE guidelines and company standards.

Working Hours & Benefits

• 10‑hour days with one‑hour break, 6 working days a week.
• Medical: Company will cover candidate’s medical insurance (excluding dental, optical and other chronic diseases).
• Overtime: Company will pay overtime for hours worked beyond the 10‑hour daily schedule. Fixed overtime amount is included in salary to cover an additional hour each day beyond normal working hours and the 10th hour on the 6th day per project requirements.
• Leave in accordance with Oman Labour Law.
• Joining & Air Passage: Company will provide a one‑way economy class air ticket from the candidate’s country to Muscat to enable employment.
