Job summary

Zoomlion Heavy Industry Oman is seeking a skilled service technician to maintain and repair heavy machinery across mining and construction sectors in Oman. The role focuses on mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, with on-site fault handling and rapid response to client service requests.

You will perform preventive maintenance, test repaired equipment, manage spare parts and inventory, and provide technical support while ensuring safety regulations are followed.

Qualifications

• Graduate or a relevant college diploma holder (preferably in Automotive).
• Experience: 1 to 3 years in the same industry.
• Experience in Engineering/Heavy Equipment machinery preferred; familiarity with local region.
• Skills: Cold Calling, Lead Generation, Customer Relations, Marketing Strategies, Key Account Management.

Responsibilities

• Find out, adjust, repair or overhaul mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Carry out periodic maintenance on heavy equipment (mining trucks, drills, crushers).
• Test repaired/assembled equipment to ensure function and safety compliance.
• Provide technical support to customers and maintain good client relations.
• Ensure work follows safety regulations and proper procedures.
• Respond quickly to service calls with on-site fault handling.
• Manage central warehouse orders processing.
• Oversee spare parts inventory and overstock planning.
• Follow regular distribution order plans.
• Manage regional spare parts sales and payments.
• Train and guide service system staff.
• Collect and inspect service data.
• Inspect new machines and manage inventory vehicles.
• Organize spare parts, shipping, QA, and used parts.
