Job Description

  • Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly mine plans based on the overall production schedule.
  • Supervise drilling, blasting, excavation, hauling, and ore stockpiling activities.
  • Ensure proper implementation of grade control and coordinate with geologists and survey teams.
  • Enforce strict adherence to HSE regulations and ensure best practices are followed.
  • Monitor equipment performance and optimize usage to improve efficiency.
  • Maintain detailed records of production, delays, and operational data.
  • Support QA/QC processes and manage ore sampling and stockpile reconciliation.
  • Assist in obtaining necessary mining permits and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.
  • Contribute to weekly planning meetings and prepare technical reports on project performance.
  • Coordinate closely with the planning and HSE teams to align mining activities with overall project goals.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in open-pit mining operations.
  • Proficiency in Surpac and MineSched software is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of drilling and blasting practices, grade control, and mining regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Capable of working in remote project locations and managing field operations under pressure.
