Job summary

TransitPro Solutions is seeking a Merchandiser in Khasab, Oman to manage product design and development and oversee distribution to retail locations. The position is a contract role with potential for full-time employment, based in Khasab and requiring independence and strong communication.

The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years in merchandising or product development, and be proficient with MS Office, with knowledge of supply chain management and strong negotiation abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in merchandising or product development.
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of supply chain management.
• Must be able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with designers and suppliers to develop new products.
• Manage the entire product development process from concept to delivery.
• Conduct market research and analyze trends to ensure our products are competitive.
• Coordinate with retail partners to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking as needed.
• Collaborate with marketing team to develop effective product placement strategies.
• Attend trade shows and conferences to stay updated on industry trends and network with potential partners.
