Design and develop comprehensive MEP systems, ensuring they meet project specifications and regulatory standards.
Conduct detailed load calculations for HVAC, ELV, plumbing, firefighting, and electrical systems to optimize energy efficiency and performance.
Collaborate with designers and architects to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into building designs.
Prepare technical drawings and specifications using advanced software like AutoCAD and Revit, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
Oversee the installation and commissioning of MEP systems, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
Perform site inspections and audits to troubleshoot issues and ensure compliance with safety and building codes.
Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors for timely project execution, managing any design changes efficiently.
Prepare BOQ, tender documents, and manage project documentation, including reports, schedules, and cost estimates, to ensure transparency.
Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations to bring innovative solutions to projects.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
Professional certifications such as LEED AP, PMP, or equivalents are highly desirable.
Minimum 7-8 years of hands-on experience in MEP design and project management, preferably in the GCC region and Interior design - Fit-out sectors.
Proven track record in interior design and fit-out projects.
Experience in using design software like AutoCAD, Revit, and other MEP-related tools is essential.
Proficiency in BIM (Building Information Modeling).
Skilled in preparing BOQ, tenders, MEP coordination drawings, and other project documentation.
Familiarity with local building codes, standards, and safety regulations to ensure compliance and quality.
Strong problem-solving skills coupled with analytical thinking to address complex engineering challenges effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English, with proficiency in additional languages being a plus.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
