Job summary

Worley in Oman seeks a senior completions leader to drive systemization, mechanical completion and turnover from construction through handover. You will coordinate with engineering, construction, commissioning and operations to ensure readiness and rigorous adherence to project procedures and HSSE standards.

The role requires directing multidisciplinary teams, managing turnover dossiers, and ensuring quality deliverables across the project lifecycle in a complex oil & gas environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience in completions, turnover, commissioning, and handover on large Oil & Gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of systemization, mechanical completion, and handover requirements.
• Experience with completions management systems.
• Understanding of EPCM project execution activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide HSSE leadership and promote safety, quality, and operational excellence.
• Lead completions and turnover from construction through handover, start-up, and final handover.
• Manage systemization, mechanical completion, punch listing, and turnover processes.
• Coordinate interfaces between engineering, construction, commissioning, and operations teams.
• Provide clear leadership to completions and turnover personnel to meet project objectives.
• Ensure compliance with project procedures, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
• Monitor progress, milestones, risks, and critical actions; facilitate stakeholder meetings.

Primary Objectives / Responsibilities

• Provide strong HSSE leadership and promote a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence.
• Lead completions and turnover activities from construction through commissioning, start-up, and final handover.
• Manage systemization, mechanical completion, punch listing, and turnover processes to ensure project readiness.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, commissioning, and operations teams to achieve successful system handover.
• Provide clear leadership and direction to completions and turnover personnel to achieve project objectives.
• Ensure compliance with project procedures, quality standards, and contractual requirements.

Specific Accountabilities

• Manage and coordinate completions, mechanical completion, and turnover activities across all project systems.
• Oversee systemization activities and ensure systems are prepared for commissioning and handover.
• Monitor punch list management and ensure timely close-out of outstanding items.
• Coordinate interfaces between engineering, construction, commissioning, and operations teams.
• Oversee the preparation, verification, and acceptance of turnover dossiers and handover documentation.
• Track and report completions progress, milestones, risks, and critical actions.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings to resolve completions and turnover issues.
• Ensure all turnover deliverables meet quality and project requirements before handover.
• Support commissioning, start-up, and final project close-out activities.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in completions, turnover, commissioning, and handover activities within major industrial or Oil & Gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of systemization, mechanical completion, and handover requirements.
• Experience with completions management systems and turnover processes.
• Strong understanding of engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project execution activities.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams in complex project environments.
• Strong stakeholder management, coordination, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to HSSE and quality management principles.
• Experience managing resources within multicultural and diverse work environments.
• Experience managing EPCM projects.
