Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Operation, Service, or Maintenance of Refrigeration Plants.
• Hands-on experience in servicing and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operation & Maintenance of Refrigeration Plant with Unitary Condensing Units.
• Preventive & Breakdown maintenance of Refrigeration System.
• Overhauling of Compressors and Servicing of Refrigeration Controls & Valves.

Skills

Servicing & Maintenance of Cold Rooms

Knowledge of Refrigeration System

Understanding P&I Diagrams

Experience in Copper Pipes Brazing

Electrical knowledge of Single Line Diagrams

Education

ITI certification in Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning

Matric Education

Job description

Job Duties:

• Operation & Maintenance of Refrigeration Plant with Unitary Condensing Units and Multi Compressor Rack System
• Preventive & Breakdown maintenance of Refrigeration System
• Overhauling of Compressors and Servicing of Refrigeration Controls & Valves

Skills:

• Hands-on experience in Servicing & Maintenance of Cold Rooms / Refrigeration Plant
• Knowledge of Refrigeration System working principles
• Ability to understand P&I Diagrams
• Experience in Copper Pipes Brazing
• Electrical knowledge of Single Line Diagrams and Control Wiring is an added advantage

Experience:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Operation, Service, or Maintenance of Refrigeration Plants

Education:

• Passed ITI certification in Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning
• Experienced technicians without ITI and with Matric Education will also be considered
