Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation in Oman’s Dhofar region seeks a guest-focused Server for our luxury property. You will greet guests, explain menus, coordinate with kitchen and supervisors, and ensure seamless service during dining periods.

The role requires English fluency (Arabic a plus) and prior experience in a luxury hospitality setting. You will maintain hygiene standards, assist with table setup, and support smooth operations across shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Server in a luxury property is preferred.
• Proficiency in English is essential; Arabic is a plus.
• Ability to operate the software system to process orders efficiently.
• Strong understanding of the outlet's concept and offerings to communicate with guests.

Responsibilities

• Provide the perfect service experience for every guest and ensure they feel welcome in the restaurant.
• Greet guests by name when known and manage seating preferences (outdoor/indoor) with social distancing.
• Explain menu items, specials, and unavailable items, coordinating with chef or supervisor for special requests.
• Keep food hot/cold, serve drinks before meals, and maintain table cleanliness and side stations.
• Follow hygiene standards and policy, maintain side stations per checklist, and ensure readiness for next operation.
• Carry trays and clear areas; maintain linen and CCG, and drop soiled linen to laundry after each period.
• Respect schedules, keep supervisor informed, and report incidents or guest complaints promptly.
